The Allianz Riviera, Nice new stadium, is one of the most futuristic and eco-friendly stadium in Europe. Designed by Jean Michel Wilmotte, it will has a capacity of 35.624 seats and it will also host the National Sport Museum. The construction of all the structure is based on the theme of environmental compatibility. Largely built with natural and eco-friendly materials, it has been designed to received large events, not only sporty. It also provides a plant of commercial shops, offices and services that will occupy 29000 square meters with all around a park of 3 hectares. The total investment for the construction of the eco-Nice stadium will be 245 million euro.
The Gualini Spa has operated until the beginning and it has contributed to the design of curtain walls and metal frames inserted in the enveloppe of the stadium. The types of products used go from simple aluminum curtain walls and glass facades to fire steel and glass.
