New contract for Gualini which will manage the redevelopment of a building located in Milan’s city centre and near the Theater Dal Verme (renovated around the mid-90s by Gualini).
The project involves the redevelopment of a building consisting in two parties: the first building intervention consists in replacing the existing aluminum windows with new ones made of steel profiles in order to guarantee the same aspect of the original elevation and the improvement of the performances.
The works on Via Porlezza 12 is a creation of a double skin in glass for the facades exposed on the inner courtyard and a single glazed skin for the façade that overlooks Vicolo San Giovanni sul Muro. This kind of facade guarantees an excellent bioclimatic interior comfort, guaranteeing heating in the winter season and cooling in the summer. The structure is realized with steel cables fixed to a beam placed on the roof.
