A new management hub was founded in Milan, among the areas already subject to Porta Nuova and Scalo Farini regeneration interventions. Bassi Business Park, a prestigious OBR project, aims to give renewed attractiveness to a series of buildings built in the 70s, aligning them with the rapid development of the surrounding areas. Attention to the design and flexible organization of the interior environments are the keywords of the project, which aims to encourage the personal well-being of the people who will visit the hub.
In addition to the restoration of the building, air connection to other neighboring buildings is planned, to promote new views and an easy connection. The interiors, characterized by transparency, flexibility and innovation, are designed to ensure the comfort of the occupants, who will have offices with different areas for teamwork and spaces for socialization, including break areas and panoramic terraces. Even the exteriors, characterized by large glass surfaces, point to an impactful architecture, reflective during the day and iridescent at night.
Gualini oversaw the production and supply of the outer shell of the first two lots of three buildings to give new life to the exterior of Bassi Business Park, paying attention to sinuosity and modernity during construction. The new facades consist of continuous facades in extruded aluminum profiled glass with large mirrors, surrounded around the perimeter by sunshades and pilasters composed of aluminum blades with horizontal and vertical courses made with over 40 different shades of color. The façade system is anchored by special steel connecting plates. The renovation of the exterior is completed by the suggestive roof terraces, consisting of a concealed aluminum profiled glass parapet and the continuation of the aluminum blades in the architectural design of the pilasters and sunshades in the void.
