Palazzo di Fuoco is one of the iconic buildings in the city of Milan.

Located in Piazzale Loreto and built from 1958 to 1961, the original project by Giulio Minoletti and Giuseppe Chiodi combines the refinement of modern glass architecture with the typology of the urban gallery, which in Milan has seen the creation of some examples of remarkable quality. The renovation of the building, which began in 2017, aimed to modernize the building from the point of view of systems, interior layout and energy efficiency, thus obtaining LEED Platinum certification.

Gualini, who obtained the assignment for the building envelope of this ambitious project in July 2021, was responsible for the completion of the cell facades, in addition to supplying and installing ventilated facades, fire-resistant EI curtain walls and glass roofs.
