The Testimonio II project occupies the last space available in the “La Rousse - St. Roman” district, located on the eastern front of Monte Carlo.
The real estate transaction involves the construction of two different buildings that connect 'Boulevard d'Italie' with 'Avenue Princesse Grace'.
The first building, for residential use, is spread over six levels and consists of 50 private housing units and 1,100 parking spaces, with an irregular and curvilinear course along its entire length, to give dynamism, a highly distinctive character to the building and guarantee a sensational view of the Mediterranean. The apartments are characterized by aluminum windows, both sliding and hinged, continuous facades and glazed coverings with glued structural glass.
The second building consists of three floors and is characterized by a slanted and sinuous façade. The intended use of the building is a multifunctional school, as it involves the construction of an international school for 700 students, a private K-12 school and a kindergarten for 50 children. The building envelope consists of aluminum windows and facades, complete with glazed cladding and natural composite stone cladding.
The “Boulevard du Larvotto” communication road, which runs between the two buildings, is maintained and connects the two complexes. To ensure the necessary security near the road network, steel facades with fire-fighting characteristics have been created.
In March, the contract for the expansion of the project was signed by Gualini; the extension concerns the building for residential use. In fact, an additional floor of apartments has been added, for which our company will create the same area as planned for the other six already planned. Another important part of the extension will feature five luxurious villas located in the same building. Gualini will provide doors and windows with a refined design and top of the range Corian® railings and cladding.
This will be a highly stimulating opportunity that will allow Gualini to continue to get involved in one of the most ambitious projects in recent years.
